Rose Charities NZ sent a Trauma and Grief Counsellor, Liese Groot-Alberts, to work with local medical professionals in Samoa after the tsunami in 2009. Her workshops were appreciated so much that she was invited back eight times.
Liese is also involved with setting up Palliative Care in Samoa and other places, with Rose NZ support.
